Congratulations to Our City & State Champions
Congratulations to Woodland’s Fast Flying Tigers and Red Fire, City Champions in the U12 Gold and U11 Silver Divisions! The Flaming Fireballs for their State Recreational Cup victory, and all the other teams who did their best, fought hard, and, most importantly, had fun! Looking forward to new seasons ahead!
SPRING SOCCER
The Spring soccer season is managed by the Seattle Youth Soccer Association. Usually, a coach or a parent from an existing team will register the team for spring and pay the fee to SYSA, collecting contributions from players—Woodland does not receive any of this money. If you played in Fall 2024 or with a Woodland team before, contact your coach or teammates to check if a spring team is forming. If your team isn’t playing but you want to, ask your community members if other Woodland teams in your child’s age group will play. If you can't find a team, let us know, and we’ll help you connect with a registered team that has space for another player.
The Woodland Soccer Club helps coaches by providing extra equipment when available. We sometimes have old uniforms that can be given out. And you are welcome to buy a uniform in our current design on this page below. We have no control over schedules, field conditions, or game conduct issues; these are managed by SYSA.
More info on spring soccer, including playing days, expectations, and organization can be found at the SYSA website, here. Please review the Coach and Parent FAQs before reaching out to us with any questions.

Your coaches will set your practice schedules based on their time and availability. Stay tuned for a message from them!
Game schedules typically come out in late August or early September. Most games will begin the weekend after Labor Day. U6-U9 games are all on Saturdays. U10 and above are Saturdays or Sundays. You can find the specific day here: Game Days by Age.
-
When rosters are set, you'll get a message from your coach. Please refrain from reaching out to the Club until mid-August if you have not heard from someone yet! We have 1,400 kids and only a few volunteers!
-
All players need to wear shinguards. Soccer cleats are recommended, but not required. More information can be found at: Uniforms & Equipment.
If you need cleats or shinguards, drop by our Shoe Library at 5553 Wallingford Avenue N to see what's in stock! The library needs deposits to operate, so please leave any too-small cleats or shinguards for others!

The Rules of Play are posted on the SYSA website here: SYSA Rules & Regulations.

In some cases, yes. We typically have the ability to add players at the U10 and older age groups as rosters are much larger than at the younger ages. Please email our Head Registrar

That's amazing! Yes!
WSC is an all-volunteer organization that relies on the hard work of dozens of volunteers who coach, organize, and direct the Club to offer exceptionally low-cost and accessible recreational soccer opportunities.
Please reach out to president@woodlandsoccer.org and let us know how you'd like to contribute to this great organization.
