Seattle United

Seattle United is SYSA's advanced development club, providing selected players access to premier competition and professional training: In addition to annual spring tryouts, Seattle United also offers player development programs and camps throughout the year that are open to recreational players.

Player Development Academy (PDA)

The most popular program offering is a seasonal 6-week program only open to SYSA rec players (no Seattle United players accepted). The PDA is a program is divided into Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring "sub-seasons." Each training session focuses on a specific topic to stimulate the technical and tactical development of each player. Overall, the PDA is a great program that provides players with professional coaching in a fun, competitive environment.

Speed, Agility, Quickness (SAQ)

This program helps players build the skills, habits, mentality and technical foundation necessary to achieve a new level of soccer speed and control, as well as game day success and personal achievement. Speed has become the most desired skill in the game soccer. The good news about this developmental focus is speed is a skill that can be learned through technique training, repetition, with this fun systematic training program. Goalkeeper Training

Coaches use an age specific training curriculum that consists of the Technical, Tactical, Mental and Physical aspects of the game. Players will be placed in age/level appropriate groups to challenge them and to achieve success. This training is open to players are any level or club.

 

UK Elite

U.K. Elite is a national camp programs that allows players and coaches to participate in soccer on a regular/year round basis, for a broad range of ages and abilities.

 

Seattle Sounders

Sounders FC offers camps and programs for players of all ages and skill levels designed to develop playing ability, build a love for the game, and interact with the first team.

Peter Fewing Soccer Camps

Peter Fewing is in his 26th season as the Head Coach of the Seattle University Men’s soccer team (and he’s also a Woodland Soccer Club parent!). Peter Fewing Soccer Camps focus on teaching kids that the game of soccer can be both educational and fun. The camps teach with enthusiasm and a positive attitude, enhanced by counselors with high-level playing backgrounds insuring that each participant will leave camp a better soccer player, teammate and individual. Camp formats vary : Half Day, Full Day, and Overnight.
